favorite places, old and new

 

the girls met my tree

 

it was as much fun

showing the girls

some of my favorite places

as it was discovering new ones together,

 

like the drive-on beach.

 

i had been seeing

 glimpses of cars

parked on a white sandy beach

 

from this bridge,

 

 

 

but hadn't been able

to figure out how to get there.

 

the girls and i were determined

to figure it out,

and we did.

 

 

it has become one of my

new favorite places.
