celebrate all the joys

mother's day.

this is my sister-in-law julie's
first mother's day,
and my heart holds such happiness
for her and my brother mike.
i'm excited to be a part
of their journey into parenthood,
excited be an aunt again,
excited for all the joys
we'll share as a family.
but what i'm most excited for is simply
the chance to celebrate julie
on her first mother's day
and tell her how much we all love her.

was born on
april 17th, 2012
at 7:52 pm.
i'm so grateful
i was able to be at the hospital
when she arrived,
and share those first
amazing hours of parenthood
with my brother and sister-in-law.
as you can see,
she's beautiful.
i'm the proud aunt of 4 nieces!
